Hey there. I found your site through google. I'm just wondering why you think it might be that people (in general) don't have interest in doing anything positive, nor contributing to it, but toss out something negative and everyone swarms. I normally get decent hits to my blog and decent comments too....however I'm trying to start this positive movement and I get crickets! Maybe it just doesn't match up with my niche? but I really want it to be a part of my blog because my blog is about me and I'm positive :)

nice post!

Thanks Colin
I needed your post today as I continue into the last of my own "48hour " journey flying solo into a new part of my career. Funny how it's harder to hang in there when you're so close to the finish line.
You're right - up until the half way mark, you keep thinking about turning back. Once you've crossed that point, it's just a matter of "To infinity and beyond!"
Knowing one skills is almost the easy part. Following through and not giving up - that's the trick innit?

Thank's Sheila! It doesn't matter how old I am, I continue to learn about these things and I am firmly of the opinion these days that the depth of journalism that brought the Watergate shenanigans to light is a thing of the past. It's so interesting to read the other side of the story and I have to hand it to him for not downplaying his mistakes in his memoir. Considering how balanced he appears to have tried to be, even while faced with some insanely difficult challenges, the way he was treated by the press seems to have been downright dishonest in many cases. It's a pity.

A very thoughtful post. If more Americans had been as thorough in their thought process we'd have had less name calling and probably a very different outcome in our last election.
